We’ve been working with Econotech Limited and supplying them with signage since 2005. Econotech are specialist in industrial control panels and systems, focusing on the water industry. With ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 they are well placed to offer expertise in their field and can take on projects from design through to testing, and certification. Both being established Sussex-based businesses we connected and have established a long relationship.
Initially supplying Gravoply labels and panels in various colour types. This material worked well with our rotatory-style engraving machines as the material had layered colours, so the top layer could be black and the text would appear white. However, with changes in the manufacturing of labels, we have moved to Laserables II as a material allowing for laser engraving, a quick and precise technology.
All the engraving is manufactured from supplied technical drawings and many of the panels have their distinct branding and logo with dragonfly element.
Industrial labels
Labels range from bespoke to unique 1 off to bulk orders of hundreds, finishing with bevelled edges and holes for fixing. In addition, some of the signage also requires additional services such as etching and screen-printing.
Labels for econotech range in requirements from chemical tanks to rating plates, pumping stations, serial numbers, switch labels and part labels. Labels range in size, some for small parts; indicators or supply information to larger labels with operating instructions.

Did you know…
Rate plates, also known as name plates or identification labels, help to identify essential permanent information on machinery. Therefore at a glance, the serial number, voltage, and date of manufacture can be seen. Consumers will be used to seeing them on appliances such as washing machines or ovens. Name plates can be created for large-scale machinery such as trains, planes and transport.
