BEL Signs and In Partnership have been working together since 2010, having supplied printed roll-up banners and pop-up signs for a golf day. Since then we have manufactured and installed a wide array of signage. The most prominent of these has been the signage to the front of the Online House on North Street. Installed in 2011 it has just been updated twice, but now with its new branding.
When In Partnership came to us in 2011 the building was plain from the outside. Exterior signage from the pavement not only acts as wayfinding but also provides information and advertising. Two monoliths have been installed on either side of the stairs into the building, allowing customers to find them in whichever direction they are coming from, the town centre or the train station. These monoliths have blue sides with digital prints on one side. Above the door, an aluminium panel cut to the shape of the logo, at the time, featuring a swirl and the working ‘partnership ’in a transparent rectangle has been replaced with a larger sheet of clear acrylic with digital print to one side.
Rebranded signage continues inside with reception and stairwell signage and outside with car park and an engraved plaque with infilled corporate colours.
Monoliths are great for businesses looking to make an impact with their signage. Freestanding, they act as a brand marker and can emphasise the entrance space from the pavement and roadside, allowing for a clear destination. They can be single or double-sided and range in height, size and colour. Digital print allows for any message and branding on either side. Add a printed listed directory and arrows to ensure people can easily find their way, especially if there is more than one business on the premises. Installed as a monolith, looking like a slab coming up from the ground, or a more totem style with feet, the styles are endless.
