Dry Transfers UK | Custom Rub-Down Transfers for Precision Branding
If you have ever come across Letraset® lettering you will have met with dry transfers. However, our high-quality dry transfer service or decals can be customised for creative use.
How the process works
Made-to-order transfers can produce professional-looking products. The technique is done by hand in our factory using a specialised printing process. Film negatives are produced from the artwork, producing a negative for each colour.
This is why there is a separate price shown for the film negative, as the film negative can be used again. Just let us know if it is a repeat order, or if you would like a different colour. (Read more about film negatives on our blog.)
These sheets are then coated with chemicals and solutions with each colour built up, and finally, an adhesive is applied.
To apply your dry transfers, rub them on the desired surface with a burnisher. Leaving the surface looking like it was printed right onto the object directly with no glue or residue left behind, and an outstanding result.
Finishes available
Satin (Matt) and Gloss Finishes:
We can produce a bespoke colour to match a swatch or a Pantone® spot colour, including fluorescent, metallic, and pastel colours. It is also possible to reproduce the effect of foil blocking.
Foil Finishes:
We can match foil colours to Kurz and API foils or any swatch you might have. We also have a selection of off-the-shelf foil colours that can replicate a foil-blocking finish.

All prices exclude VAT. A £6 colour matching charge will be applied to colours that require mixing; this will be in your quotation.

Pre 12pm to UK address = £14.00 (up to 20kgs).
These prices are for the mainland UK. Any address in the Scottish Highlands may take an extra day on the courier and will carry a surcharge. If you need to know, please contact us with the address and postcode, and a cost indication will be sent to you.
Additional courier options such as pre-10 am and pre-12 pm are available; ask for more details.

Supplying artwork
Our design department is an expert at creating artwork, especially for dry transfer. However, you can create artwork and send it directly to us, ideally using a vector-based program such as Adobe Illustrator. There are limits to sizing with regard to text and line thicknesses, and we can advise you upon seeing the artwork. We tend to create artwork in sizes of A5, A4, or A3 as standard.
