Durable & Stylish Stainless Steel Plaques – Custom Engraving

Our bespoke engraved stainless steel plaques are just as popular as our brass plaques. The main differences between these two materials are the finish and appearance. Brass is known for its decorative colour and requires regular cleaning and polishing. Stainless steel is ideal for harsher conditions, with great weatherproof qualities; it is hard-wearing with much less maintenance required.

Engraved, infilled, backed and shaped stainless steel

The standard width of our stainless steel is 1.5mm, with laser engraving available, allowing for greater precision for both text and logos. Our stainless steel plaques can be engraved and infilled with coloured enamel just like our brass plaques. It can also be backed with a wooden backing board, again, just like our brass plaques.

Brushed stainless steel is slightly textured and is the typical type of stainless steel you will find. Mirrored stainless steel is very reflective and smooth; see our gallery, below, for examples.

Stainless steel also makes for great shapes, like teardrop and wave shapes, making plaques more interesting and decorative.

Stainless steel for corporate, business or personal

With a style that is suited for both commercial and private use, our stainless steel signs can have a wide variety of uses. We produce premises signage, commemorative signs, award-style plaques and memorial plaques that are fitted onto a tree stake, with a spike for ground fixing. Your stainless steel sign can also be backed with a wooden backing board for an additional border and effect.

Infilling can be for text and logos, we can match a specific colour or branding, or they can leave plain.
