BEL Signs has been working with Henfield Storage for years now. Previously Henfield Hire & Storage, we saw them refocus the business ,rebranding as Henfield Storage.
In the past, we have updated the Horsham premises, which included exterior signage and van signwriting on various sizes of vehicles.
Henfield Storage now has a newly built unit situated within Brighton Trade Park and fitted out for them, boasting around 80,000 sq ft of space for over 1200 customers. It has industry-leading storage equipment units, with a range of sizes from 10 sq ft lockers up to large 300 sq ft rooms.
The new unit required signage to be seen from both sides, with new signage to be placed on a corner with traffic coming into the trade park. It also had to be bright red and white, within brand guidelines.
The two signs would be over 5metres both in height and width, not quite square. With built-up lettering and backlit and to be installed to the building at heights above 13 metres.
BEL Signs would be in charge of creating artwork, fabrication and project managing the sign, we would also advise on installation.
Two signs of over five metres, made of 60mm deep aluminium folded trays, powder-coated in a red gloss colour. A powder-coated sign is hard-wearing, ideal for the outdoor weather and sea breeze. The lettering would be manufactured from descaled stainless steel in a gloss white, also 60mm deep, with the ‘h’ in ‘henfield” standing at 750mm in height. All the lettering would also feature cool white mini LEDs for halo illumination and fitted to the tray. Each sign would be made up of six sections with an internal ladder frame.
Installed over a period of months, mainly due to the adverse weather, the sign is now complete and on display. With this project complete we hope to bring the same finish and project management to the other sites for Henfield Storage.
